A Little Annoyed!

Thursday, February 26th, 2009

It has just been one of those days!  I don’t even know where to begin.  So, let’s start with my lovely boyfriend Tyson.  He is an amazing guy and I love him to death.  But!  Oh yes, the infamous….BUT, he works construction and has been laid off all week and maybe even next week because they put a freeze on jobs.  So he gets to sleep in every day and play mafia wars.  I wake up every day at 3:30am and get home about 6:00pm every night.  Needless to say I am exhausted and don’t have time to do much.  On the weekends the last thing I want to do is clean and my laundry.

So, I asked Ty if he could please do my laundry this week while he was off of work.  Let’s just say that it is Thursday and only (1) load of laundry is done.  If I were off of work for an entire week I would make sure that house was beautiful for him and do his laundry.  Heck, I would even put it away.  I even tried to bride him with a little extra “whooobaaadeeedooobaaadee” (as Jesse would call it) and that didn’t even work!  What is a girl to do?

I know I probably sound like a selfish spoiled brat, but it is annoying the daylights out of me.  Not to mention that I am extremely jealous that he has this time off of work.  I think I am holding a little bit of a grudge against him.

He really is an amazing guy I mean every night when I come home he has a home cooked meal ready for me and he makes the bed every day.  What more can a girl ask for? (Well, besides a little help with laundry)  I just cannot let go of this…..there is just something about this “laundry” situation that is driving me crazy!

Maybe I am blowing this out of proportion………..

but do you really think that I am asking too much?

P.S Did I mention that I have about (10) loads of laundry that needs to be done? :) HAHA!

Well, believe it or not….. FACEBOOK! No, it wasn’t because I am fed up with the stupid applications.  I did it because it is the only thing that is going to  challenge me the most.  I could give up things like wine anyday; and trust me I am a WINO!  But, this facebook thing might be the most challenging thing in my life to give up.   Okay, maybe not my life.  But, it’s going to be a struggle.

I believe Shotgun mentioned today that  on average Facebook Addicts check their accounts atleast 20 times a day.  That seems outgrageous, but I am totally one of those girls.  You can laugh all you want, but if you are a facebooker I challenge you right now to monitor how many times you look at your account.  I can guarantee it is alteast 10 times a day.  Which would make you half way on your way to being an addict! :)

Anyways, bottom line is……….Do you think I can do it?

Wish me luck! I will keep you posted on my status!

FACEBOOK APPLICATIONS!

I love Facebook!  I think it is the best social networking site to date.  Like most people I use facebook to get in touch with people from high school and family and friends from out of state.  I love logging on and finding out all the juicy gossip.  In just a few clicks I know who is knocked up and who is breaking up.  But, the only downfall are those STUPID Facebook Applications.  NO, I do not want to grow a garden with you or play Mafia Wars or have a family tree with you.  I just want to stalk you and know what is going on in your life.  Who has time for that kind of stuff and what does it all mean?  I just think they mafia-wars.jpgare ridiculous.

So, my boyfriend had the day off of work yesterday and when I came home from work after a long hard day and I see  him on the internet with his credit card in hand.  My first thought was, “Awesome he is paying are bills!”  But, when I looked at the screen I saw him on facebook.  I was LIVID.  I put my sassy pants on and started giving him the 3rd degree thinking he was surfing the net and buying porn.  I truly lost it!  He just started laughing!  Which made me steam even more.

Come to find out he was playing Mafia Wars on Facebook and he spent $20 buying points so that he can up his “mafia character,”  are you kidding me with this?  What a waste of $20!

On the plus side of things, now I get to go spend $20 on something frivilous…. I am thinking a pedicure :)  Well, I am off to start a new FACEBOOK GROUP ENTITLED:  I HATE FACEBOOK APPLICATIONS!
